This downtown bag is a stylish backpack that converts to a sling bagg with the swap of a strap. Its an organized interior that opens wide and includes a pocket for your cell phone, key fob and a removable ID/coin purse with its own mirror. It has 2 outside pockets, perfect for carrying a cell phone, PDA or digital camera.
There is a front gusseted pocket that zips closed to keep your valuables secure. Also contains credit card slots and an additional zippered pocket. The outside pocket has a magnetic snap closure with leather trim, and it's a lightweight, water resistant.

Straps not adjustable

This is a great bag! Except that the shoulder straps are too long for me and they're not adjustable. It's a backpack and since I couldn't shorten the straps, it hangs out away from my back and it just doesn't fit. Too bad because I really liked the bag. I'm thinking of cutting the straps and sewing them shorter on my heavy duty sewing machine, or I'll give it to a friend who it fits.

Good Everyday Bag

So far, so good. I like the compartments and am figuring out the best way to use the space. Does not work great as a sling bag, but I may need to break it in a little more.

Super bag

I have loved my Urban Backpack for past two years, but wanted a small change of pace so decided to try the Downtown Bagg. I really like the various zippered pockets on the outside which make frequently used items (chapstick, Blackberry, clip-on sunglasses, phone, etc.) very easy to get to. It would be nice if there were at least one inner pouch that ran the full length of the bag to hold a long comb, pens/pencils, etc. But, overall, I really like the bag. It is very roomy inside and very comfortable to wear (usually in backpack mode).

This is absoutely a must have product. It is a beautifully designed piece. If you don't have it, then you have to think again. You will be missing on this product. Have got one and I don't regret using it. I am the envy of my colleagues.

Downtown bagg

This is a great little bag. I had a similar one the urban for about 5 years before but that was just a bit too small. This has the two little side pouches just right for small carry items-lipstick, floss, pills, etc. There is also a front pocket that zips that I use for checkbook. Size is just fine for a small backpack that can be carried most places. The split in the straps make it versatile for single or double straps. The one problem is that the slots where it is suggested that you can keep credit cards are too short in depth. Difficult to fit the cards in. So I don't use those for anything. But that's minor. The holders for keyfob should be a different color than the holder for the small id wallet with mirror inside. Never can tell which is which when I want to grab just one. I do love the bag and usually use it 5 days a week.
