I bought it for my husband, to replace an old paratrooper style bag. He uses it to travel to work on the train and subway. It was better than what he was looking for. Specifically, the main compartment had a zipper, and there were smaller compartments, as well, so you could maintain some sort of organization. He also liked the the size.

I had a small backpack to tote my stuff in and wanted a better more durable shoulder bag that was not too big. I took my time looking and decided on the Trapper John. I made a good choice, I like it a lot and would buy another. It's heavy duty, looks good, and has a nice wide shoulder strap that is plenty long and adjustable. I can load it with a day planner, lunch bag, small thermos and a couple of spiral notebooks and it's just right.

I just returned from 3 weeks in Europe, continuously on the move. The Bed Stu came in so handy I couldn't believe. I kept all my paperwork (passport, journal, maps, guidebooks, tickets, etc.) and assorted items (camera, pens, hats, cell phone, etc) in the Bed Stu. The adjustable strap is very comfortable. It is excellent for traveling, and I would recommend it highly!

This is a pretty cool bag! I searched around for one for weeks until i decided on this one. I wanted a masculine bag, this one is very masculine. Tons of storage and little zipper compartments, its deep too so it will fit plenty of stuff. The color in real life looks like dark dark brown leather with a hint of deep pine green. I'd recomend this bag to any man.

As advertised. Compact, stylish, and well made. No complaints. Holds my papers, pens, and other misc. stuff, as well as my small laptop (gets a little snug when I throw the cord in there, but again, it is compact)
