I was actually looking for a very lightweight backpack with bright colors for good visibility for bicycle commuting. From that standpoint, the CalPak Pole has the orange color, but not as bright as I wish, and it's kind of heavy for biking. That said, I was attracted to it because it was sturdy enough to carry my laptop. So I use it, I carry my laptop in it and I am very satisfied. I would still like to find a neon-colored lightweight nylon backpack for everyday, but I'm really glad I now have the ability to bike commute even when I need to transport my laptop or my heavy workboots.

She really like the colors and the room in her new backpack. Her old one was falling apart and was not big enought for her to bring home all her homework. This one is really sturdy and has plenty of room.
