Good bag for travel days

I bought this bag to take on vacations. It is too large for an everyday purse, but a good size to carry around when I am away from the hotel room for many hours at a time. It can hold normal purse items, even a small purse if I wanted, plus a water bottle, light jacket or sweater, guide book, small purchases, etc. I like the length of the straps - long enough to get over a shoulder while wearing a not-too-bulky jacket, but short enough that I can tuck the bag under the arm for security. It's lightweight and sturdy. It has a cell phone pocket and a half dozen (or so) credit card slips (something I don't use) and a zip pocket on the other inside wall. I would make a few improvements if it were possible. I'd have liked one outside open pocket, for slipping in a map or other thin, and not-too-valuable items that I want to reach easily. And I'd have liked a little larger open-top inside pocket for my digital camera. ( I may just sew one of these over the card-slips, since I don't use them anyway!)All in all, I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it to others.

I am constantly on the run and started using a large canvas casual purse/bag this last summer. As fall approached I was looking for a good leather replacement. This is it! I can put all my normal purse stuff in it, plus extra items like a camera or GPS unit, and a bottle of water. The deep front pocket is fantastic because I keep my cell phone in it and, for the first time ever, I can actually find my phone when it rings! Unlike my canvas bag, this one has a zip top which gives me peace of mind. This is a very good quality bag (on par with my Coach bags) at an excellent price. I shopped around a lot and finally picked this one. When my sister saw it she made me tell her where I got it so she could get one too - thankfully we live in different states so we won't look like dorks with the same bag . Overall, an excellent purchase that I am very happy with.

I first bought the black one and loved it. The size is big enough for me to put a small book and a middle size purse. I liked it so much, so I bought the brown too. I like Clava goods. It is very light.

I also have this in light brown, it looks even richer in black and holds it's shape better, as it happens. It is a perfect size and weight (I'm small). I couldn't be more pleased (and I'm hard to please) with the bag or shoebuy!

I purchased this bag to use as a catch-all for trips. I like the size, shape and interior. It can hold my pocketbook, phone, digital camera, etc. very nicely. I even used it as an overnight bag recently. The leather is quite supple and the workmanship is wonderful. I highly recommend it.
