I bought this so I had a smaller tote. I was hoping it would fit under my arm, and it does. I bought this in brown, and the leather is very rich looking and is the kind of leather that will age well. You cannot use a full size wallet/checkbook in this purse, unless that is about all you carry. You need to scale down your belongings for this purse. It is very cute. I would recommend it, and I give it 4 stars because it would be nice to have just a few inches more space all the way around and maybe 2" longer in the handles, then it would be a 5 star.
