Dakota Atomic Watch for my Husband

The watch itself is really nice. I like the dark background and clear numbers and seconds. I also like the compass. The only problem we have is that the band is too tight on my husband's wrist (which is unusually large). I have been trying to stretch it by putting it over a glass and letting it stretch. However, when my husband puts it on, it seems better but seems to shrink back into shape. I was going to write and ask if it was possible to get a longer watch band or if you had any better suggestions. It doesn't seem to have the normal type of watchband which can be stretched. If you might have a similar one with a longer band, I could keep this for a Christmas gift and buy him another. Please let me know. Thank you!

I bought this for my son for Christmas as a surprise. He was very happy with it. It fit him nicely and looked perfect on him. Very stunning for a 16 year old.

I think I will really like this watch when I get a chance to wear it. The time instructions are excellent and it has kept perfect time since I received it. However, the depitction appeared to show an open watch band which would allow it to fit any size wrist. In fact, the band is closed and entirely too large for my wrist. I know it can be adjusted by removing some links but they didn't include any instructions on how to do this. I live in a very small town in rural Missouri and we don't even have a jewelry store here.
