This watch is a good size. Not too big but also not too small. I like being able to clip it to my belt loops. I was surprised that the LED light is actually red, not clear, but it's actually nice that it is red because it is not too bright. The whistle doesn't seem to work too well. Not very loud. Doubt it would function as a survival whistle. The compass seems to work fine. Also, the watch does glow in the dark (if you prime it by shining a light on it), which I didn't realize from reading the description. A nice bonus. All in all, I've had the watch a month or so and I am quite pleased.
