Product Description (David King Leather 171 Organizer Briefcase)
A modern classic with u-shaped, zippered front pockets for agenda, cell phone, PDA or computer accessories. Two smaller front zippered pockets are great for keys, ID or personal business card holder.
The large main compartment can accept a notebook computer if you have a padded insert for it, or it will hold several thick files and paperwork. Rear zippered pocket for loose paperwork.
An integrated organizer section includes a calculator pocket, card pocket and pen/pencil pocket. Adjustable, removable shoulder strap. Our soft, rich vacquetta leather displays all the character provided by nature, making each piece unique.
Our tanning process locks in natural oils, producing a soft, durable hand that won't crack or become brittle with normal use. Occasional maintenence with a high-quality conditioner is recommended for lasting performance.

I purchased this briefcase for my husband, the most disorganized man I know. He's a retired engineer. I got it as an anniversary gift. It has enough room for everything he needs: laptop, phone, calculator, business cards and address book. The leather is rich and beautiful. I was proud to give it to him.

This bag, if indicative of all David King leather products, is a great value. It's only around $50 yet is leather, and not cheaply made either. The 171 is a small bag, and should be considered for folks who only have a few items. It also is somewhat malleable in that it does not maintain a rigid profile against one's body; it folds sorta. This is because the bag is so slim and small, not because it's cheaply made. The strap is a bit too short and could use a little tiny pad in the center for increased comfort and stability, but since the bag is so small, I understand why the strap is thin throughout its length. The value cannot be overstated. For a mere $50+, you get a nice leather bag. If the size of this bag is right for you, this is a brief to have in your closet, even if it's not your #1 (i.e. at this price, it's good even as an alternative).

I needed a more professional bag to begin carrying my books and paperwork, and found this wonderful bag here at Shoebuy.com. So far, the briefcase has been sturdy and highly attractive. There are plenty of pockets for storing PDAs, cell phones, business cards, iPods or other items. There's a pocket for papers on the back side of the bag that may be a little too small for an 8.5" sheet, but it's pretty close and can still hold the papers. I worried about the zippers on the bag, but have so far had NO problems with them. This is a very attractive, professional and useful bag. I'm very happy I purchased it.
