I bought this for my wedding and it matched my white satin wedding gown perfectly. However, the silver chain was way to casual for such a nice evening bag. I easily removed the chain and replaced it with some satin, thin rope I picked up at a craft store. I attached it with hot glue. Took me less than 5 min. Now it's perfect!
