The color is great, red but not too bright. Tremendous pockets and lots and lots of room but not so deep that you have trouble finding something. The contrasting grey-green piping and lining set it off perfectly.

The color is beautiful, but it needs to be noted that it's not a cherry red; it's more like a red with some blue overtones. Whatever the case, it's a great-looking bag. I was looking for a tote which had one or two pockets for a water bottle, a detachable shoulder strap and the ability to slide over a luggage handle. This has it all. Plus, it's relatively lightweight and the straps and shoulder strap have a good pliable feel. The grey lining makes it easier to find things inside and the multitude of pockets makes it easy to organize everything. All in all, I'm very pleased!
