Bought the hat to protect against exposure to the sun since I have had 2 basil cancer spots removed. The hat offers extreme protection, is very lightweight, has a strap for windy days. Also, since I usually have the biggest head around, I was between an XL and XXL. I ordered both and returning the extra one was a breeze.

I got Hot Fun Planned for this Brim as soon as the sun starts to do it's thing.It's High crown leaves room for me to wear my bandana under it as a sweat band & to add a bit of flair to the boss headwear.Henschel makes great hats but you need to make more in xxl sizes or bigger.

It's a great quality hat, but we had to return it and get a larger size. We followed the sizing instructions (measure your head at the widest point, find the corresponding size on the chart). The measurement led us to order a Large, but it was too small. We measured the inside of the hat, which was supposed to be 23 1/8 inches (a Large), but found it was smaller than that. I called Henschel and asked if their hats ran small, or if there were special sizing instructions on this hat. We ordered an extra large, and that fits much better.
