I.T. is one of the primary brands offered by Landor & Hawa USA, Ltd. which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Landor & Hawa International headquartered in Harlow, Essex, UK. Polycarbonate luggage, consisting of twin molded shells with zipper closures was introduced in Europe in 2001. Following its astounding acceptance in Europe, L&H established its U.S. subsidiary in 2003 and introduced this new hard-side luggage concept to the American consumer. It was an immediate and overwhelming success. Because of L&H's commitment to design and innovation they have refined their original design to include an expansion feature. In March, 2006 L&H introduced the first "book open" zippered expandable polycarbonate luggage. It was received with immediate and overwhelming acceptance. Again, being in the forefront of technology, L&H has now introduced Frameless and Freefoam Technologies in soft sided fabric luggage resulting in ultra-lightweight packing cases with more interior packing space. It is estimated that within a few short years that as much as 75% of all luggage offered for sale will incorporate this new technology developed by Landor & Hawa. At the Travel Goods Association Show in Las Vegas, L&H won one of the TGA Product Innovation Awards for 2006. Two weeks later they won the prestigious Luggage Innovation Award at the 2006 MIPEL Show in Milan, Italy. Landor & Hawa is a multi-national company supplying product world-wide to all facets of retail under their own brand and/or private label direct imported brands. L&H has been trading in China since 1985 and has established English speaking offices in both Hong Kong and Shanghai with a staff of 30 direct employees who are committed to insuring that only the very best quality of product available carries the International Traveler brand.
