Thought the bag would be great for my 13yr old Boy Scout until he had it loaded, put it for a trial walk and the main strap popped. He went to adjust the tension on the pack with the strap attached to the shoulder strap and the strap broke totally. After looking at it, the stitching was so tight that it cut through the strap itself, I think. Other than this problem the pack seems to be designed good although no matter how we tried to compress his sleeping bag it would not fit into the bag itself. It had to be hung on the bottom of the pack with straps we had to purchase.
