Defective Telescoping Handle
May 28, 2009
Reviewer: Bonnie from OK
I bought it for my large sized laptop.I've had it for a year but have been unable to use the wheeled portion, as the telescoping handle slider broke.I've always had this bag as a carry-on because of the ability to roll it when needed. The shoulder strap gets a bit annoying without any special cushioning if the bag is too heavy mostly, is when it counts!I'm glad I can detach the wheeled part but I need to get it replaced.under warranty!!

High quality and professional looking, even beautiful!
February 20, 2008
Reviewer: Edro from Maryland, USA
This is a high quality and very professional looking bag. I own several computer bags and this is a great looking bag. It is also tough. To those who say they didn't get the weather cover, look INSIDE the frame! It is suspended via a clip to the inside. (It bothers me when people give an incorrect review.) I've never used the weather cover anyway. I tend to use this without the rollers but it is easy enough to take it off and put it back on again. I load up my bag pretty heavy so the rollers are good.. My 17 inch Dell Precision M90 (like the XPS) fits in it easily. The only thing that bothers me are the corners. The M90 is a very large notebook computer, one of the largest, I think. Although it fits in the bag without any effort, once it is zipped up the computer comes right up to the corners since the bag is a little rounded in the corners. It isn't a stretch or anything bad, just that if I banged a top corner of the bag against something very hard (at just the wrong angle) then the notebook would take a hit. Still, it is difficult even to find a bag to fit this size of computer. I stuff a sock at each corner and that gives me peace of mind. I think that I also could avoid banging the bag against something hard at just the wrong angle. It's a great bag, a great price, and shoebuy was easy to purchase from. I've had the bag for over 6 months now and happy to have it.

The Bag That Saved My Back
June 13, 2007
Reviewer: Anonymous from NY
Great bag! Now I can quickly walk to my job without feeling like Quasimodo when I get there because I'm rolling my bag instead of carrying it. The bag is very high quality and has room for my laptop, files, assorted gadgets, and newspaper. I really like the brown color. It has style and class written all over it. It is a bit heavy, but that's why you can roll it. The roller part does come off to make it lighter, but I haven't used it that way yet. I called customer service to get a recommendation on a bag that would be able to withstand my grueling commute every day, and they recommended this one. The gentleman on the phone was highly knowledgeable and professional, and he was right. This is a great commuter bag.

Amazing case
June 11, 2007
Reviewer: Dan Hays from CA
This brown leather laptop case is elegant in appearance, magnificently crafted, light weight (until all your stuff is in it), and of rugged design. On the first day of travel with it, three people wanted to know where they could purchase one. I was happy to tell them about Shoebuy.com and their products, in particular, the McKlein Damen case.

I am happy with the purchase with the exception of the weather proof cover. It was promised to be included but was not.
