I carry so much in my bag to commute to work that I have destroyed many canvas messenger bags. I bought this as a sturdier alternative. And it is- good quality, and I think this might finally be the bag that lasts beyond the six month mark.My only complaint is a random one- it's very loud to open! The velcro that holds it together is incredibly loud - seriously, if I open it on the train I've seen people jump. My husband jumped when I opened it at home!If you're looking for a sturdy bag, this is great. If you're looking for something subtle... keep looking.

I teach in a prison. Since it became minimum security, the corrections officers are no longer on the education floor. Because of the somewhat recent murder of a corrections officer in a different corrections facility in the state, we (including teachers) must carry a radio with us at all times. The radio is heavy, meant for uniform and belted clothing. I needed an alternative way to carry the radio while teaching, and this turned out to be PERFECT. I'll use it hiking to carry water, cell phone, and miscellaneous items when I'm not in the classroom. It is so lightweight and versatile. Very glad I found it!

I like the baggallini line of purses, they are hard to find, so I was happy to find this. I have so many bags to choose from. The bag I ordered is just great. It is light weight and can hold all the things I need for the day. It has many pockets and I can get to things pretty easy.

I love this bag. I am big on zippers for keeping stuff safe inside. And pockets are the best. I am able to hold more (including a stainless steel bottle) than I did in a bag twice its size and it actually feels lighter. It is a miracle bag. Not showy at all and that is just my style. Maybe I'll change the rating to a 5 when I have time to evaluate its craftsmanship.
