At last, all breeds of dogs can be fully prepared for a night out in the backcountry. The dog trippin' kit contains all of the related necessities to take your hound backpacking with you. All of the contents fit into the included dog pack.
The dog pack features independently adjustable fleece lined chest harness, two zippered pockets with rain flaps, single haul handle on the top of the pack, compression straps, D-ring attachment point for leashes, mesh pocket on the top for leash stash, reflective trim, and an internal valuables pocket.
The dog bed has a low profile design, and is fleece lined. The water bowl has a webbing rim that maintains shape, and attachment loop, with leak proof lining. The grub bowl has a webbing rim that maintains its shape, a drawstring closure, attachment loop Leash, stainless metal snap hook, elastic cinch when not in use, and variable length adjustment option.

My dogs are trippin in their new Mountainsmith pack

I purchased this pack because I watch The Dog Whisperer all the time and the pack looked like the type he uses. I have three dogs. 1 - border collie/healer mix. 2 - border collie/lab mixes. I switch the pack amongst the three and they feel very important when it's their turn. I split a bag of rice into two ziploc bags and put one in each pouch. They are soft and conform to the body. You can regulate the amount of rice for the dogs size. This pack is very well made and the bowls and dog bed are ingenous. The straps are covered and soft against their bodies so there is no irritation from the straps. I definitely would recommend the Mountainsmith pack. I purchased the medium and it fits all my dogs from 52 pounds to 86 pounds. We walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles every day and this pack helps with their workout.
