Great bag, great value.

Very styish, old-school look. Fits a 17" laptop. Sits up on its own on the floor or desk. Would have given five stars but for two minor quibbles: the sporty style of the strap does not quite match the elegance of the bag, and the stitching could be a bit more even (but falls within even my OCD tolerances). You cannot find a better bag at this price. I would confidently take this bag into federal court (without the shoulder strap).

A very good bag for the money!, the only hang-up would be the uneven stitching along the seams took away from design of the bag. Leather was adequate. Nylon interior looked kind of cheap. A good bag otherwise.

No matter the "case," this is an absolutely awesome briefcase. I use it every day (I am a consultant health professional/college professor.) The quality abounds in the construction, design & overall utility. If there is any down side, it is only that because of the construction, the brief is a mite heavy...however, there is a pleasingly cushy strap that is comfortable or you may choose to use a carrier (like I do)... I'd much rather this case as it is much more elegant than the briefs that have built in wheels and helps you maintain an elegant, professional profile.
McKlein briefcase

Purchased this briefcase, and would do again. Fast delivery, and the product was exactly as advertised; is very well made of quality leather. What more can I say? You would likely pay at least a hundred dollars more for comparable quality.

For the most part, computer cases are boring and ugly. Not this one, it's classy and functional. The fact that it has an attachable shoulder strap makes it even more appealing. Good all-around purchase.

Unique Brief Case/Computer Case

I bought this brief case/computer case in brown leather to hold my large IBM Thinkpad T42p laptop computer... and it fits great. It has nice compartments to hold pens, business cards, pda, cables, etc. Also, since the case is sturdy and roomy, you can actually store an extra folded shirt and tie in one of the compartments. And best of all, this case always stands upright and does not fall over like a soft sided computer case. My first flight with this case was a small regional jet and it fit just fine under the tiny seat. Finally, you'll get plenty of compliments with the good looking traditional style. You will love this case.
Excellent briefcase

The McKlein Harrison has a very classic look. The single handle is comfortable and the latch functions easily but stays secure. The bag is roomy and seems very well-made.My only wish is that it featured some sort of metal feet or brackets to protect the bottom of the bag. But after searching all over, I know that you can't find a better bag at this price.

This is my first McKlein case and I can't say enough about the quality! The Harrison model is handsome, spacious, and functional. The single handle is comfortable. A great case overall. My first order was for another McKlein model; nice case, just not what I really wanted though.
