Just about a perfect bag!

This bag is a great size and has a fine appearance for everyday use. I really like the cross-body style, and the leather is a nice color and texture. I would say this is a *perfect* bag, one that can go with casual or business attire and that accommodates checkbook, wallet, make-up, and sundries--perfect except, that is, for the inconvenient cell phone holder, it's a bit small and is awkwardly positioned on the strap of the bag. Overall, though, I love the bag.

This everyday bag is just beautiful, elegant, practical, and so well-made it will probably outlast me! It's extremely well designed and I love that my cell phone is always right at hand because of the cell holder which is right on the bag handle. It doesn't look like just a workhorse bag for someone with a lot to do, but it looks very fashionable, hangs on the body in a very attractive way, and has an air of seriousness and practicality, which is hard to combine in one bag. I have several Clava bags for different purposes and I love them all. It's a wonderful company with a fine design sense.

I am very happy with this bag. I agree the cell phone holder is a very tight fit, but I like the long strap and the look of the bag. I can sling it over my head on the opposite shoulder and it is still long enough. I could use one or two compartments in the bag, in addition to the zippered parts on the outside. Those are great, but I would like an unzippered compartment or two on the inside for lipstick, keys, things like that. There is one small zippered area inside.

I received my Women's Clava 711 Everyday Sling and am very happy with the side and shape. I actually thought it might be larger than it is, but am glad it's the right size. I can carry so much in it, like most women want to. There are lots of zippered pockets to keep item separate. No bulkiness at all. The strap seems A bit too long for me, but I'm just not used to wearing A purse/sling this way. I'll get used to it, and it's nice having my hands free. My cell-phone fits perfectly in the phone carrier on the sling strap, but I'm sure many phones won't fit. All in all, I'm glad I purchased it.

Quality leather, but needs slight improvements

I bought the tan colored sling bag, and it is great looking. The leather is very nice, and the construction of the bag is excellent. I am sure that this bag will last years without tearing or breaking. However, this bag is bigger than I expected. It's quite long and the adjustable strap does not have enough holes to make the strap shorter. It's too long and big to wear as a regular shoulder bag. It takes over my 5'3 body. I will have to have more holes put in the adjustable strap to make it shorter. When I wear it messanger style, I have to keep the bag behind me or my legs will hit it as I walk. I put my really big wallet, small travel photo book, a couple of lipsticks, a pen, and cell phone in this bag..all of this made the bag a little too heavy. This bag is really great looking, but because I am shorter, I don't think I will get much use of it. My intention was to use it as an everyday bag. I would not buy this particular bag again, but I would buy another Clava bag because of the great quality. This bag may be more suited for a taller and larger framed person.

The bag is comfortable, looks great in a very simple, under stated way and holds alot. If I could fix anything, I'd make the cell phone holder a little wider and put a zipper on the main pocket (there is a snap). I am definitely glad I bought it.

Great Sling

I purchased this sling for travel, and it has become my everyday purse. I love it and it has enough room for all the essentials and then some. The cell phone holder is a tight fit though. I have it in black and regret not ordering the brown.
