For what I purchased this backpack for, it is outstanding. It holds my 17" labtop computer, is well cushioned, and has a number of pockets for other things such as papers, mouse, power cord, calculator, PDA, iPod including a headphone exit hole, pens & pencils, paper pad, water bottles, etc. It has room for a notebook also. The one potential drawback is that it would not carry the laptop and a number of textbooks at the same time.

Excellent bag but looks are not great....

This bag is excellent if you want to put lot of stuff in it. It has tons of pockets and lots of space in it too, but its looks are pretty normal. Guys won't have any problem with that, but I think girls won't like it's colors that much... just black and silver but really useful.. highly recommended...
