I still have and continue to use my 17 year old North Face backpack.It has made more travels than most people. I am so pleased with my new purchase the easy to reach front pocket panel,the weight,comfort is so easy to wear, the capacity is great for all my needs and has progressed is the last 17 years as well they should.Overall I am quite confident no matter what your need for a backpack may be North Face will have the perfect pack for you.

I bought this backpack as a gift for a friend of mine. She has had the same backpack for over 20 years and it was just time to retire it. She was quite attached to the old one, but she is very excited about the new one. She said it was perfect. She spent most of the evening identifying all the neat pockets and trying to decide what could go where. Oh the excitement! I am pretty certain this backpack will be around for 20+ years too!

I bought this for my daughter who is a college student. She LOVES the Surge! Her wide screen computer fits in it really well, the quality of the material is superb, and it is really comfortable to wear! She says it is the best back pack she has ever owned and highly recommends it!
