The Sak is proud to introduce Reyes Eco. Building on our company philosophy of peace and harmony in all things, and our heritage of Indonesian handmade crochet, we've created this new environmentally friendly collection.
Recycled batik material is torn into strips and then crocheted into these beautiful one-of-a-kind artisan bags. The lining is tea-stained cotton using no chemical processes and the logo mandal is made from coconut shell. Do something good for the earth and look great at the same time!

THE SAK consistently makes a nice handbag that looks great and is priced affordably. I love the colors in this Batik bag and it is very lightweight. I am dis appointed however that there is no way to close the bag-a snap or a hook would be great.I also would have appreciated some zippered compartments on the inside. Even though there are several pockets, the items have a tendancy to fall out and land somewhere at the bottom of the bag.This is a one season bag. I don't believe it is durable enough to save for next summer. I would describe it as a fun, casual bag that is the perfect size, just what I was looking for.
